Wersant Homes advance features

No. This is a temporary-to-permanent pathway program. The land remains city-owned, and the program can be modified or discontinued if needed.

No. Units are paid for by residents through structured at-cost payment plans and/or external assistance programs.

Participation agreements include clear expectations. Non-compliance results in removal from the program and transition to other services.

No. The City does not own the units, does not manage residents, and retains land control. Oversight is structured through agreements.

No. Participants are pre-qualified through veterans services, senior programs, or hardship verification. This is not open enrollment.

Tiny homes provide privacy, stability, and dignity at a lower cost per person, resulting in better outcomes and faster exits from homelessness.
